1. All decisions taken by the management are final and binding of the students
  2. Ragging is an offense. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus as well as in the hostel. Any student/students involved in such activities will be immediately suspended from the institution. Both junior and senior students are required to maintain cordial relationship with each other and a disciplined atmosphere in the college campus.
  3. Every student admitted to the B.Sc. Nursing course shall have to follow rules and regulations of the Nursing College.
  4. As per INC, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak & HNNMC regulations, no student shall be allowed to appear in the annual examination of the concerned subject if his/her practical, hospital posting and bedside clinical areas etc, the attendance should not fall short of 100% of the total sessions.
  5. Regular and punctual attendance in all class activities like lectures, demonstrations, practical’s, clinical teaching, tutorials, tests etc is must. Usual college time is 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and in clinical 8 am – 1 pm/ evening session to 2pm to 6pm/ Night duty. Students must be participate in all college activities like clinical meetings, conferences, guest lectures, seminars as well as sports, cultural activities etc.
  6. Students are responsible to the Principal for their behavior, both in and outside the campus.
  7. Students are required to maintain ethical and professional standards in behavior both inside and outside the college, hospital, hostel and community premises.
  8. Students are forbidden to communicate with any outside authority directly. All such communications must be submitted through the Principal office. Any student infringing this rule is liable to be suspended.
  9. If the students have any problem, (like illness and any other serious problems) they should inform the class representative and the class representative will intimate it to the class coordinators. If the problem is not solved at the class coordinator’s level, then the class coordinator will present it to the Principal. No students should by-pass the above mentioned channels.
  10. If a student is in need to get leave from the college or hospital in the middle of a day, for any emergency, he/she should get sanction from the class coordinator and a letter to that effect must be produced from the parent or guardian.
  11. Students should greet the lecturers when they see them for the first time in the college/hospital/hostel etc.
  12. Students are not allowed to come directly in the Principal’s office. They can come only with the permission of the class in charge.
  13. Leave of absence from the classes must be taken from the teachers.
  14. Any student who damages the reputation of the college in any way is liable to be expelled. If any student discontinues the Course, he/she shall clear all dues for the remaining duration of the course. If he/she fails to pay, his/her original certificates will not be returned. Original certificates will be returned at the time of leaving the college when students clear all the dues.
  15. Each student is responsible for the proper handling and safe custody of any apparatus or equipment that he/she may be using in different nursing labs. Misuse or negligence will result in replacement of the particular by the candidate. Any willful damage done to the property of the college and hospital will be treated as breach of discipline.
  16. For any kind of misbehavior with staff or creating disturbances in classroom and in the college premises by a student or group of students, a full range of disciplinary action will be taken i.e. student will be expelled from the institute and depending upon his/her fault can be under legal action. A student expelled on disciplinary grounds will never be readmitted to this college.
  17. Coming on hospital duty or entering the institute premises in un presentable appearance will be liable to punishment.
  18. Students are required to wear full uniform during college and hospital.
  19. If any student found in use of liquor or narcotics on hospital duty or in institute premises, he/she will be suspended from the institute for a specific period or be expelled from the institution.
  20. Students are required to carry their identity cards during college hours, clinical and whenever they are going out and must be produced whenever it is asked by the concerned authority.
  21. Loitering around the corridors during classes and attending other classes are not allowed.
  22. Students shall be answerable for bringing any friends/colleagues/relatives etc. to the college during regular classes, functions etc. without the permission of the concerned authorities.
  23. A student nurse is not allowed to receive gift or gratuity of any sort at any time from the patients of the hospital or their relatives.
  24. Phone calls (incoming and outgoing) for students are not allowed except on allowed Lunch time and during emergencies.
  25. The Principal and the Management have to right to take strictly action if student failed to pay the college/hostel due in given time period.
  26. The Management reserves the right to change any rule or provision given in this prospectus.
  27. The candidate must secure 50% marks in internal examination in each subject
  28. The student should groom professionally and well behaved in the college.
  29. Student Nurse must treat their patient with respect and dignity
  30. The student should maintain their professional ethics, that is
    a) Not to give personal contact address to their patients
    b) Not to become too friendly with their patients
    c) Not to handle the patients belongings
  31. Dress regulations for students (Female)
    • Hair should be oily and tidy
    • Long nails with polish are not acceptable. This will injure the patient. Mehandi’s on hands will look odd and hence it is not permitted
    • Student must be well dressed with shoes (No any bangles, attractive big ear rings, chains, anklets and perfume etc., are not permitted.)
  32. Dress regulations for students (Male)
    • Hair must be groomed well (Preferably oiled)
    • Face must be neatly shaved
    • First button of shirt must not be left open
    • Bracelets or religious threads are not allowed in the clinical areas as well as college duration. Slippers are not allowed. Only shoes are accepted.
    • White apron is compulsory.
  33. Besides the curricular activities, the students are expected to participate in all extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural programmes /academic activities and field studies arranged by the College.
  34. The student must clear all the dues of the college & hostel before the commencement of examination; otherwise she/he will not be allowed to attend the exams.
  35. Students must develop a sense of belongingness that inspires them to take care of the college property and keep the college premises neat and tidy. Damage to any property of the college is a punishable offence.
  36. College administration is very strict on irresponsible mannerisms like leaving books, valuables and other belongings in the classrooms, laboratory, library, dining hall or in any other common place. College is not responsible for any loss of such property.
  37. Suspend such a student from attending classes for not more than a week at a time or; expel such a student from the college or; disqualify such a student from taking examination, or any other disciplinary action deemed appropriate by the college authority.
  38. Students are not expected to communicate any written or oral information on college academics or administration to the Press, public information, and media or to any outsiders.
  39. In case of any dispute, decision of the college authority will be final and legal action will be taken.
  40. Students should not break or damage any of the article provided for their use.
